This engine is much improved over the older 25, it has the new squareish head design and larger volume, baffled silencer. In testing with the Club 2000 flyers it has been outperforming the 25FX and coming in as well as the extremely popular and much-lamented Irvine 25.
In testing, after about 1 gallon of Formula Irvine Sport 5 fuel, this fantastic, new 25 engine is turning a RAM 9×6 at 13,500 RPM and so will most definitely be competitive in the Club 2000 class. What’s more, at this price you can buy about 3 for the price of one of certain other engines!
