  1. Gordon Holt

I purchased this engine to power a Balsa USA 1/4 scale Fokker D7 that I built last winter. It requires a few hours running in on the bench and my engine sputtered to a stop after 2 hours running. On investigation I found the bolt holding the rocker assembly had worked loose. I contacted Just Engine who immediately sent me free of charge replacement rocker cover gaskets. Once re assembled with stud lock on the bolt threads 4 hours running in was completed without problem. Since installation in the aircraft I’ve flown 35 times reaching a total of about 6 hours flight time without fault. Easy starting, great throttle response and totally reliable plus great sound for a scale model. Despite the problem I had, will definitely recommend and buy another.

Put this initially in an 80″ seagull hurricane, sounded great and flew at a very scale speed. Very impressed with the engine. Now putting it in a DB sport and scale 1/4 scale SE5a

Does anyone know if this would fit a flair 1/4 scale tigermoth ?

Yes the 38 FS would be an ideal choice for the ¼ scale Tiger moth. Pretty sure there are several out there flying..
